These terms are an agreement between you and Neumosys, the maker of Burnplate. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don't use Burnplate.
Not medical advice. Burnplate is a wellness tool, not a medical service. Its plans, calorie and nutrition figures, and burn estimates are generated by large language models — they are high-level predictions only, not measurements, and are not clinically, medically, or nutritionally accurate. They can be wrong, and they are not a substitute for professional advice. Talk to a qualified doctor or dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or an eating disorder.
1. The service
Burnplate helps you plan meals and workouts, log what you eat and do, and see how they connect. Features may change, improve, or be removed over time.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 (or the minimum age in your country) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your device secure.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Burnplate is offered as a paid subscription through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage or cancel renewals in your App Store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable — refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe others' rights while using Burnplate.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
- Access the service through unauthorized or automated means.
- Upload content you have no right to, or that is harmful or unlawful.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add — your logs, photos, and notes. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to operate and improve Burnplate for you, as described in our Privacy Policy .
6. AI-generated content & no clinical accuracy
Substantially all of Burnplate's predictions and outputs — meal and workout plans, food and portion detection, calorie and macro figures, burn estimates, and recommendations — are generated by large language models and other automated systems. They are high-level predictions and estimates only: they are not measurements and are not clinically, medically, or nutritionally accurate or reliable. They can be incomplete, inconsistent, or simply wrong.
You are solely responsible for reviewing this generated content and for any decision you make about what to eat, log, or do. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Neumosys nor the Burnplate app shall be liable for any loss, injury, health outcome, or other harm arising from this generated content or your reliance on it.
7. Intellectual property
Burnplate, its name, design, and software are owned by Neumosys and protected by law. These terms don't grant you any rights to our brand or code beyond using the app as intended.
8. Termination
You can stop using Burnplate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that could harm others or us.
9. Disclaimers
Burnplate is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimates will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neumosys is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any health outcome arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Burnplate in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update the date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Burnplate after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Neumosys's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: support@burnplate.com .
